About Our Firm

Todd Engineers specializes in the planning, development, management and protection of GROUNDWATER. Our status as a California certified Small Business Enterprise has allowed us to retain a tenured staff of professionals who know our clients and are highly responsive to their needs.

Our firm was founded in 1978 by Dr. David Keith Todd, an internationally recognized expert in groundwater hydrology and author of the widely-respected textbook, Groundwater Hydrology. As a pioneer in the field of groundwater, Dr. Todd mentored several of today's leaders in groundwater hydrology.

Dr. Iris Priestaf, President of Todd Engineers, has 25 years of experience in groundwater assessments with a specialization in groundwater basin management. Dr. Priestaf applies research and teaching at the university level to the practical issues of consulting. She directs both the technical and business aspects of company operations.

Our key management at Todd Engineers includes Phyllis Stanin, Vice President and Principal Geologist, and Raymond Will, Principal Engineer. Our staff includes geologists, hydrogeologists, geographers, environmental managers, and civil engineers, all highly qualified in the groundwater field.

Todd Engineers is certified by the South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) providing engineering, geologic and scientific professional services in groundwater hydrology. Todd Engineers is certified (Certificate No. 206126821) in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541330, Engineering Services. South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency serves agencies including Edwards Aquifer Authority, San Antonio Water System, San Antonio River Authority, City of San Antonio, and Bexar County, among others.
